Venus is in Libra from October 14-November 7. We are more inclined to employ charm rather than aggressive behavior in order to get what we want during this cycle. Although Venus in Libra virtually lives for relationships, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We are very obliging with others–quite willing to negotiate and compromise. During this cycle, you're at your most magnetic when you're being adventurous. If you feel you're stuck in the same old routine, do yourself a favor and plug into your interests. Do something you haven't done before, and you're more likely to attract who and what you want. Expressing your philosophical point of view is best right now. A deep discussion could take your heart forward by leaps and bounds. Different people (those who you don't normally consider your "type") attract you. You're looking for new and different people, and experiences. The exotic and the unknown now have more appeal to you than the familiar. Sharing your philosophical interests with a romantic partner may be especially appealing now. Until October 22nd, Mars is bringing heat, urgency, and vitality to your close partnerships. "Heated discussions" with a close partner may be part of the picture for the next few weeks. Make sure the competitiveness you feel in your relationships is kept at a healthy level. Close personal relationships may be especially demanding or active for the next while. This position can go one of two ways, and sometimes a little of both: battles with an especially combative partner, or newfound confidence about seeking what you want from a relationship.
Until November 18th, you are in a Moon cycle in which intimacy and sharing issues become especially important to you. This is an especially good cycle for you to learn more about your deepest needs and desires. Until November 3rd, Eros is transiting your adventure sector - a very expressive position! Adventure and self-expression are the themes in your sexual life. It's time to come out of the woodworks. You feel considerably more free about expressing your sexuality. If you happen to be traveling during this cycle, a romantic adventure may be on the agenda! You also display a stronger zest for life in general during this cycle.

Venus is in the sign of Libra.
Venus is in Libra from October 14-November 7. We are more inclined to employ charm rather than aggressive behavior in order to get what we want during this cycle. Although Venus in Libra virtually lives for relationships, there is an air of cool detachment to this energy. We are very obliging with others–quite willing to negotiate and compromise. We can be especially idealistic about love. We prefer things be done the “right” way, and are turned off by aggressive or uncouth behavior. The shadow side of this position is dependency, inconsistency, and superficiality. In an attempt to avoid unpleasant situations, we could easily gloss over deeper issues at play in our relationships. It’s probably best to avoid the trap of acquiescing to our partners but privately resenting the fact or thinking ourselves martyrs for doing so! This is also a time when we are more artistically inclined. We tend to seek balance in our personal environment.
Venus is in an Air sign and Mars is in an Earth sign. Air and Earth are incompatible elements, and so there may be some problems satisfying both romantic and physical desires at once during this cycle. While we may be somewhat flighty and lighthearted on a romantic level, we have the potential of being earthy and passionate lovers. We may be attracted to people who are fun and interesting, yet we also appreciate others who ground us and who make us feel secure. Negotiations may be especially effective, as we are inclined to assert our needs in ways that don’t offend others.

Eros is in Scorpio until November 3, 2017. ( in Scorpio) Eros in Scorpio is an especially erotic position of Eros. Scorpio Eros can be addicted to the thrill of getting to know a person inside and out, and to the power of love and sex. Intensity is important to Eros in Scorpio–we don’t just want a partner’s body, we want a bit of their soul as well! This position suggests very little fear in the area of sexual intimacy, and Scorpio Eros will pretty much do anything and everything with a willing partner. Timing and the Moon: Best Times to Have a First Date This Week: According to the principles of timing with the Moon, a window of opportunity occurs this week from Thursday, October 19th, at approximately 9:45 PM EDT, to Sunday, October 22nd, at approximately 7:35 AM EDT, while the Moon is in Scorpio. Bottom Line: Venus is in its own sign, Libra, favoring partnerships, cooperation, and compromise, and Mars is in earthy Virgo, which is sensual, down-to-earth, and loyal energy, but also prone to worry over details at times. Eros is in passionate Scorpio — an all-or-nothing energy.
